Un listado de palabras aparentemente inconexas se oye a través de unos auriculares y, después de
cada una de ellas, es proyectada en pantalla la frase que da título a la pieza: Piensa en algo
diferente. Por un lado, las palabras en audio generan una imagen mental inmediatamente después
de oírlas y, por otro, la frase imperativa que le sucede contradice y anula su cualidad poética.
A list of what seems to be unrelated words is heard through a pair of headphones.
Immediately after every pronounced word, follows the title-phrase of the Piece: “Think about something different”, which appears in writing on a screen. On one hand the spoken word generates a mental image immediately after hearing it; and on the other the imperative phrase that follows contradicts the first impression and eliminates its poetic qualities.
